Ed, There might be a number of radiator shops around the country with
that
very same slogan . An old acquaintance of mine has run a garage specializing
in radiator / air conditioning work for many years in New London, Connecticut
,
where the sign up on the pole in front proudly proclaims it to be " The Best
Place in Town to Take a Leak " He was a second generation modified stock
car owner who campaigned two very sharp modifieds for a number of years, back
in the era of the early coupes, before going on to become New England' s
premier oval track starter / flagman . That sign was always a sure attention
- getter .
