In my somewhat limited experience and only applying to cars that I have 
worked on, if your car runs 226 in the last mile and 231.5 exit speed, you 
need to do something about your acceleration in the first 4 miles and a 
transmission is a good thing to look at. If on the other hand your car runs 
208.4 in the last mile and 208.7 exit speed your 2 speed is doing OK and you 
need different rear end gears or more horsepower.           My 2 cents worth 
that cost lots more to learn.  Rich Fox PS its not the MPH but the spread.
