Folks,

I have been shopping for tires (along with a whole bunch of other
stuff).

a few questions:

1... does hardness of the compound matter? The Goodyear site sometimes
as options about compound hardness

2... I found just what I wanted on the Goodyear WWW for the fronts, namely,

FrontRunners, product code 808-028-089; size 25.0X4.5-15 that go on a
4" rim; tread 4.5"; sec. width 6.5" at approx $137 each... great,
just what I want!

Then... I keep looking on the Goodyear WWW for tires for the BACK
with no luck. I was looking for a tire 27" tall
and have a tred of ~ 9" to 9.5" tread. No such animal :-( As I looked
around the rest of Goodyear's www page, nothing seemed to stick out and
say... that's it!

3... Goodyear referred me Carol Shelby Enterprises to actually buy tires. I
looked around tirerack's www but with NO LUCK on FrontRunners. Has anyone
found tires of this sort at one of the national discount tire operations?

KEN
