I agree with you completely, just trying to take some advantage of the weather
and personally really hate the dawn mission thing for a return run.. It is
better when all are wide awake...and still have their 'race face' on from the
qualifying run. I am willing to bet the anytime you are ready thing could work
as well as anything else. Most people can turn the car around in an hour or so
and it seems like less of an issue than hanging out for the entire day with
nothing to do. I can not imagine what someone could do in the staging lanes that
would put them in another class  or make the car illegal as the car has to be
teched right after the return run.
