Great summary, Keith. I got the itch now!! I'm
going to go out to the shop and finish working on
the suspension (getting the front spoiler to
scrape the seement), then button up the timing
cover and I'm ready to load up!!!
Of course, I won't load yet. I'll tune it for
the next two months, cause I can't race until the
September meet. But, you can plan on looking for
me about ten O'Clock Friday night at the Pine
Acres Lodge!
My motor sounds much better than it ever has, and
now that I've got that mysterious
"ding-ding-ding" sound out of the timing cover I
feel really good about it. I see that as of last
month, I have to go ever faster to re-claim my
record, but I'm going to give it one helluva
Texas try!
