It was an open question to all I have no idea if they would be ok. It has been a
long time since I was actively involved in drag racing with a lot of at the
track time. Race tires respond to heat and most street tires get from what I
have heard a little better with a little heat and after that get 'greasy'..
Maybe an autocross tire or a rain tire is the way to go then with a preheat
method.. Begs the question then at least at Maxton do you use a couple of
kerosene heaters on them or a good old fashioned burn out..
