Would an inexpensive outside charcoal barbecue do? Keep the object away from
the direct heat with a sheltering layer of metal and some layers of foil. As
cheap as used stoves are I would think you could acquire one for just such a
purpose and store it under a tarp somewhere.  Might have to buy a new cord
to fit your 220 outlet.  Worst scenario,  you could buy one used with a good
oven and give it away after using it. You don't need the top burners and why
risk an otherwise good roast that tastes like chemical cleaner?  Come to
think of it, in my single days I ate some food that tasted like strange
chemicals.  Maybe my room mates had already cleaned parts in our oven.

Ever try bowl toilet cleaner on old enamel signs?
