In the 50's-60's-1972 I raced in socal. Drags-
motercycles-dragsters-cars. Desert raced motorcycles,
motocross, flat track. Roadraced motorcycle & cars. In
1972 I moved to Ketchikan in SE Alaska, an island with
no racing, so I had to suffer with fishing and hunting
for 30 years. Now I am back, but not socal, I am in
Pahrump NV. Am looking to get back in racing and land
speed racing looks good to me. We went to a race at El
Mirage last year and liked it. Did not make Bonneville
this year, went to Hot Aug nights in Reno and had a
great time. Missed the drags there. But saw a great
number of good looking cars.
