Hi Dan ....... You might want to check out Ron & Sue Fournier's
Metal Fabricator's Handbook, HP Books # 709, especially pages 124 through
135; Roll Bars & Roll Cages ...... or ...... Petersen's Basic Chassis,
Suspension
& Brakes which has separate chapters on Designing a Chassis ...... The Frame,
and Street Rod Chassis Talk .
Although not specific to tubing framed cars, there is some
interesting
frame /suspension info in Tex Smith's How To Build Real Hot Rods
( Motorbooks International Publishers )
Some back issues of Stock Car Racing Mag have some excellent
articles on roll cage construction and welding tubing ......... those by
Master racecar builder Doug Gore are particularly helpful .
The last ten or fifteen years has brought forth many very good
books on specific areas of racecar costruction and preperation .......
some of the publishers' names mentioned already by others on this list
will probably have just what you need ......... Good Luck and
Happy Thrashing on your Project !
      Bruce
who met you on the Salt in 2000 ( if my memory is somewhere near right )
