Battery Voltage

Somewhere buried in the back of my mind a lightbulb went off about the
explosion hazard of (parallel ?) wiring a 6 volt with a 12 volt battery.
Bob Jepson in Beantown, who as copilot used to jump out, open the trunk and
using jumpers would series-wire huge army truck batteries to crank a buddy's
too-compressed 394 Olds...
