I have seen some adv. in Trailer Life yjsy aparently--work by "pluging up the
exhaust pipe--there by working by restricting the exhaust stroke not the
compression stroke.
The new GM pickups with the Allison have a hyd. grade retard feature in the
trans. works very very well. wmts
