Rhino version 2 is free for 25 saves of your file. It is a simple to use 3d
solid modeling program. It even has a command called 'fair' used for boat
building and has some tutorials at related partner sites that show how to fair
the hull on a boat and what the rules are for doing it. Do a search on google or
yahoo and i am sure you will find it. It will also allow you to pull at the
control points in your lofted skin in order to make the surface fair. If you
have some large money to spend the output of rhino will plug right in to a CFD
software package as well. Used by Cosworth and others.. I think the current
version of Rhino is about 1k and I have no idea on the CFD package but would
guess $$$$$$
