Thanks for the reply Dave seems I was way to cautious I will adjust the 
programming for
EGT = 1800
CHT=    400
oil temp = 280
water temp = 245
I can mount the EGT probes all in line in a straight section about 3 " from 
the  exhaust port
I will record the temps over a couple of runs and average  then look at 
setting the parameters with some data for this vehicle  thanks again  mate
