Subject: Hardware Source (Not Computer Hardware!!)

Back in the old days, when I'd go to the local hardware store, where the
local hardware man knew his stuff, and I'd need some wierd bracket or
fastener; after a short description of what I wanted, he'd always say "Oh
yeah, a sogenhauer biclamp would do that.", and he'd pull out this monster
hardware catalog and order my part.

Does anybody know what the name of that company is, or if it's still in
business. It was something like Macallister or something. I think! I need
a source for all the wierd fasteners, brackets, bits and pieces that you all
know what I'm talking about. The local Ace Hardare with the highschool
dropout girl staring blankly at her computer screen won't hack it.
