As I told Jack, at one time I thought of building a Benson gyrocopter or an
airboat but didn't wind up doing either. 
 
I think there were three or four little 2-stroke engines that were used in
various drones. Mine were originally used in Ryan target drones that were
capable of 210 mph. They used only a simple needle-valve carbureator but
still achieved 72 BHP; later ones were 90 BHP.

I had a 2 cyl version of that motor that was made by Keikifier (sp?) the guy
that made Mercury outboards.
