Just thought some of you folks on the "other side of the map" might like to
know that the salt pumping process that Riely Industries was doing for the BLM
was a 5 year test program. That was completed last spring and they are no
longer required to pump salt onto the racing surface, must be why they are not
doing it this year. We really need to get on board and do what we can to help
the
Save The Salt group. This involves letter writing and phone calls to area
representatives etc. Glen might have a closer view on what needs to be done but
I
think this list banters around enough about rules, electronics, etc., to
realize that we may not need tires to race if we have no salt to race on.
