With the strong acceleration a drag racing engine sees the rear of the
crankshaft is submerged in oil - In the mad storm of oil the valve train gets
well lubricated and cooled - The oil not needed for the top of the engine can
be put to better use at the crankshaft - The above is only true with drag
racing.
