my message was pure sarcasm, its really
disturbing to me than many are put into
your position

I THINK RULE BOOKS SHOULD BE ISSUED
DURING SPEEDWEEK, THEY WOULD BE THE NEW GOSPEL FOR THE UPCOMING YEAR,
YOU WOULD HAVE RUN UNDER THE
RULE BOOK ISSUED THE YEAR PRIOR

Because you would have the new rule book in you hands
at speedweek, by the end of that week after perusing it,
you could get rule interpretations clarified on the spot
with SCTA/BNI officials, and have the kind of effective
discourse that is needed

ANY VITAL SAFETY CHANGES THAT WERE DEEMED NECESSARY WOULD BE ANNOUNCED AS
SAFETY SUPPLEMENTS, ON THE INTERNET,
ON A DEDICATED SITE SUCH AS SCTA-BNI,
BY AN ESTABLISED DATE SUCH AS DEC, THIS WOULD BE IN BOLD IN THE RULE BOOK,

"SAFETY SUPPLEMENTS IF DEEMED NECESSARY, POSTED BY DEC ON SCTA-BNI.ORG"

I mean if many are getting rule books toward end
of May, then were almost already there, except we would have a year to work
with new gospel, not a little over
2 months, I THINK IT WOULD EVEN ENHANCE
SAFETY AND WORKMANSHIP AS LESS TIME
CONSTRAINED (HASTY) WORK CAN BE DONE

and the hard work that the SCTA does in preparing new
rules, would be less pressured as they would have all year
to get the new book ready by speedweek time frame

I will propose this via rules change process/form, for whatever it may be
worthk, nothing ventured nothing
gained

''War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and
degraded
state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war
is
much worse.''
