Lets see, Ill go out on a limb and say "Pony Express"

I can picture it very clearly a few years earlier "what about us that dont
have pony express addresses, its not
fair, we should be able to go to town and get our messages and packages"

and "what about us who dont have them phone things, we
shouldnt be obligated to get a tele"

I think of course that those not at Speedweek, would get their rule books
MAILED to them, and those who choose so could sign up to have updates
snail mailed to them as well, matter of fact maybe they could pay abit more
to cover the shipping and mailing fees that those other masses of members
would not require do to having access to some form of internet, whether it
be at home, I heard a few have them computers things now, or free internet
access at local libraries or other

the SCTA could save some money buy not having to mail out about 80% of the
rule books, and over 90% of updates

more seriously, last year the rule book came out, there were major rule
changes for bikes, the SCTA decided that they would revert back to the rules
from year prior, now some had already prepared their vehicle according to
the new gospel, BUT the rules changed after the rule book was issued, the
SCTA did not MAIL everyone known to have a rule book the changes, they
posted it
on the INTERNET to best reach everyone

meet and weather conditions are quite easily postable on the NET for global
viewing, and saves the tedious task of trying to phone everyone who may have
entered or may have wanted to come to spectate

I know some are inconvenienced by having the bike
rules in the same rule book as the cars, pursuing speed is
pursuing speed, should we have all the car classes with speeds under 150mph
eliminated to make the book easier
and more like "the way it was"???

Joe :)
