the deal was the heat and accompanying pressure
exploding the bottle.........lines
wont allow that with bottle away from engine bay...

it will provide oxygen of course, but not the devastation 
we saw from a 10 lb bottle that blew the entire front of the car 
off with bits/parts spread over a radius of up to 200+ ft, including 
the valve assembly which was pointed toward the driver compartment........

your much better off straddling the 10 lb bottle as some bike guys do, the 
fail safe is that by the time the heat and pressure was to ever get 
dangerously high enough, the rider would be very far from it.........
