Just a thought...In business, the only one guaranteed a salary is the
employee, the owner depends on profits, if there are any, for his pay.
Why is it obscene for a company to make a profit? Granted, there is a point
where profits exceed reasonable, but oil companies have not reached that
threshold in my opinion.
There is an axiom..."Only by great risks can great results be achieved."
This applies to the oil companies. Their investments are huge, consequently,
opportunity for great returns (not guaranteed, however). It also applies to
LSR...we have to be willing to risk doing the unpopular and taking untried
approach if we are to rise above the masses. Or to put another way..."One
who walks in another's tracks leaves no footprints."
