Agree.  The remoteness and the fact LSR is not really a "spectator
sport" is what will ensure it survives relatively intact.  It may get
bigger than some would like, but it will not go main stream.

I completly disagree with the statement below...Everytime they come and
set a record a few years later they are beatten by a grass root racer
who want to do it... After the "Corps" do it they are gone, gone,
gone...Look in the book now. The "corps" actually have the grass roots
guys build thier cars because they can't or won't.....There is no money
to be made in LSR unless it's for 700mph....Good Luck..J.D.
