I may be wrong but I think that Crower Cranks are still made in the USA.

Tony, I'm more surprised you are just now finding this out.
It's a very sorry fact of life. We can make 'um but not at the price of
labor 
they get in China. China & Korea are also buying (or producing) most of
the 
worlds steel, but there are still some American companies making
American 
cranks, Lunati & Kellogg come to mind.
