Then the rule should say that unless it is OEM, the only accepable fuel 
system is the use of ss braid and an fittings. Seems like then the only 
exception would be the mechanical fuel injector systems. Everything else 
is banned.  That would leave no doubt as to what is good to go or not?  
And yeah I know what was meant, but that isn't what is said, now is it. 
And since no one of us can get into the inspectors head  to see what he 
will or will not pass, then it needs to be explicit as to what will be 
ok. This shouldn't be hard I wouldn't think. Write the book like a mil 
spec.
