Some of the A/C ones are electric too. But don't the vacuum ones work from manifold vacuum? Or do all domestic cars have a separate vacuum pump to run the 'HVAC' system? I admit I don't know.

In particular, though, what Dodge van and what part number are we looking for?

The heater valves found in A/C kits work very well, but they are vacuum
operate, not cable operated as the MG valve is. They can be used, but will
require an on/off switch & a vacuum motor.

I have used a Dodge valve in the past that was cable operated, & it worked
very well. I suggest you follow up on Jack Emory's suggestion. Jack has a
real talent for finding alternatives.
