Have never found this necessary, though it could be useful.

(Corbeau) You might find the fixed angle racing seats to be too much. Try 
a Recaro or similar adjustable seat. Be aware, though, that aftermarked 
seats might put you higher and further forward. (Brackets and seat depth)

Have used a 14" Moto Lita leather wheel since my first '67 B-GT. They're 
great. One could even go to a 13", though steering effort when parking 
will be a major factor. If you have a 32" or less sleeve, get a dished wheel.
