    Please, please PLEASE George!
    Don't use JUST the seatbelts if you intend to put your
    MGB in the linear accelerator!!!

    ...you need at LEAST air bags and a roll bar when you 
    propel your MG at energies above 5 GeV!!!!!!!!

    We tried it once at SLAC, and got a nice bubble chamber
    photo of a Spriget timing chain breaking down into its
    individual links, but this was back in the days when
    accelerator beam time was not scheduled 24 hours a day.

    Our results could not be confirmed by CERN, since they
    tried the experiment with a Renault, which broke apart
    before they could even get their power up.
