Funny. I recieved no bracket. I have an 80. All that I had to do was unbold 
the old reel assembly from the bracket and bolt the new one on in it's 
place. Sounds like we got different belts

I rec'd mine today as well.  Have tried to put the retractor onto the
bracket they sent along with the belts (it replaces the bracket/belt
combo on the old set...mine's a '79B too)  seems like you've got to
be a 300 lb gorilla to screw the bolt in.  I haven't had much luck
getting it bolted all the way on.  If anyone has any suggestions or
tips, it would be much appreciated as I don't want to have to put my
old belt back on!

Typical lbc parts...rather than send incomplete instructions, they
sent none at all!  Wonder what the DOT would think of this type of
recall solution?
