In a previous message I used the expression STP, when I should have
used "TCP".

Chalk it up to anything but a Freudian slip......., or maybe STP is 
really midnight oil.......

TCP, the miracle additive, reduced octane ratings by precipitating out
the lead in tetraethyl lead, which was originally added to increase 
octane rating...    You could get enought lead b.b.'s out of a 55-gallon 
drum of 115-145 octane gas to make up a dozen boxes of shotgun shells.
