Really high oil pressure, usually caused by a stuck pressure relief valve,
can blow out the oil filter.

Moderately high oil pressure, like anything over 80 psi, usually caused by
the DPO installing improper relief spring of by shimming same, can cause
excessive wear or premature failure of the oil pump drive gears (including
the cam gear). This doesn't happen instantly, but the problem should be
attended to before you have gear failure, not after.

Check the pressure relief.
