I think Terry has a point here.  I might suggest that if we have more than a
dozen cars we form up two convoys that can travel independently at different
speeds.  This isn't meant to sound discriminatory in any way, just attempting
to suggest a workable solution.  Considering the distance to be traveled, I'm
pretty sure that those who like to do up to 500 miles a day would rather not
add a week to their round trip.
