I like to make some comments on this. There are indeed two different
waterpumps for 5 main engines and these are not interchangeable.

The more common one is in great supply, but can only be used for 18 V
engines. The other one for 18 GA up to 18 GF? engines , is , more or
less, interchangeable with the pump for the 3 main (18G) engines, with
the difference being only the distance from the block to the pulley.
(- the other difference is the price: the 3 main pump is almost twice as
costly as the early 5 main pump)

I found this out last year when my water pump started leaking at the day
of the DOT approval and I needed a new pump. My nearest dealer had, of
course, only, an expensive, 3-main pump (which could fit - but could
possibly give some clearance problems for the fan ) and a late 5 main
pump, which didn't fit on my 18 GB engine.

I ordered the right one at another dealer.

For the interested: These water pumps are in the MOSS catalogue
