A beautiful morning - definitely a top-down day, however, for the second
weekend in a row, the battery on my 72 is dead. Now theres no problem jump
starting it and once charged it restarts fine but my concern is that the
charge is leaking away over a few days.
The battery is only a few months old and whilst i havnt had it tested yet
i suspect my problem is in some other area.
no lights have ben left on, nor the heater, and it doesnt have a radio.
I can think of a number of possible culprits, but i thought id ask, take
a poll and see what comes out as number one!!

Second query. - A friend of mine used scotch tape to apply a temporary
plate to the inside of his brand-new convertible rear window. As you can
imagine, once removed this left two neat sticky lines on it! (silly
bugger!) He doesnt want to use anything too stringent for fear of fogging
or creasing the plastic. Presonally i think windex will do it but does
anyone know of anything guaranteed not to harm it?
I should mention that this is not an LBC but a Po***h so his concern is
that the top costs over $3000 (I did mention he was a silly bugger didnt
I?)

Third query - doees anyone know of a vendor that carries hatch-skins for
a GT? - VB and Moss have the entire hatch assemblies but the skins are
not in stock. since they are a lot cheaper(in theory) i thought id ask
around.

Now i have to waste valuable time changing a flat on a jeep but
fortunately said jeep will then breath power into the 72

have fun
