Note that the air rail will be chock full of exhaust gasses, with only
the check valve to prevent them from backing up to the pump.  I don't
know how much thermal abuse this stuff can take, but you might think
about this.

Love it!  You could even run a temperature idiot light, using the signal
to close a relay that turns the washer pump on.

Another piece of sound advice.

> m) run fresh-air hoses to stock intake horns

I wouldn't think this would help the motor run cooler.  It will cool the
intake charge some, but that makes a bit more power, and power = heat in
IC engines...

I'd like to add one more thing, one that I feel is very useful here in
the Deep, Sweltering South:  Run a four-row radiator core.  I have one
in the 'B and one in the Volvo, and they both work really well.

Oh, one other thing:  Straight water has a bit more cooling efficiency
than 50/50 water/antifreeze mix, but doesn't have any anti-corrosion
properties or water pump lube.  Water Wetter does, I believe.
