Hi Tom-3times,
You're right. Maybe there's something about Lazarus that I don't
know about. Actually, the delay has been caused by: (1) the shop owner
had me bring the car in about a week earlier than he was ready for it.
(2) the guru-mechanic came down with a really miserable flu-bug just as
he was getting started. (3) came to the realization that the ring gear
bolts on my early (Oct51) TD are a different thread from the ones used
in the MGA (BSF vs. SAE ?).(4) bolts arrived late yesterday. With any
luck, the car may be ready by this weekend. I hope so. This is the
longest I've gone without driving Lazarus since his resurrection. I'm
like a junkie needing a fix.
