Jay-

I use the Bosch Platinum plugs in my B.  Don't know if they help much,
but they do seem to resist fouling, and wear a little better.

As for Splitfires, the manufacturer just settled a suit brought by the
FTC, wherein the companies management agreed to retract claims of
improved performance, due to a lack of imperical test data.  

We would all probably do just fine using good old Chanpion plugs.
