He doesn't have the slightest idea how close he is to the truth. We
spent 24 hours with some oil workers in Pruhdoe bay. Had to eat dust for
nearly 1000 miles for that one, but it was well worth it just to watch
the sun go around in circles for a few days. Recently spent a couple of
days in a fish camp he Kenai peninsula drinking with the locals and
stretching fish stories. And, these British cars are making it rain
here. Until now thunder was extremely rare and lightening was unheard of
in the Kenai peninsula. While we were white water rafting on Six Mile
River, lightening started a fire on the river bank not far from the MG.
Are we posessed or what?

>They all promised to keep in touch with us poor people having to make a
living but, I'll tell you, I ain't heard a peep from them. If they're
just holding out waiting for us to worry, then they got another thing
coming.

Had a lot of computer problems. Fried a power supply in Great Falls,
Montana, bought a new laptop in Calgary, Alberta, stuffed a modem in
Fairbanks, had a new modem shipped up from Texas. Just got the e-mail
thing working right an Saturday morning 6/28. Now busy getting caught up
with a month worth of mail.

>Of course, now that we got a new woman on the list who says she's "fast
and cheap," Carol has slipped quite a few notches down on the "night
dream" top 40.

Wow! Going to have to review the digests.

>And, of course, with Barney gone, I think we've finally got all those
'A' people in line. Larry has been real quiet trying to figure out how
that rusty 'A' hulk goes back together. And that Eastmen fellow has
finally got his off the jackstands long enough to actually get it out in
the sun -- and the change has caused him to lapse into incoherent ranting
about antiquated fuel mixture theory.

OK. All together no "A" guys. One, two, three, RAISE HELL !!! See?
The MGA with an attitude can still be an instigator, even from Alaska.

>Nope. It ain't that we're miss'em, or nothing, but you would think, as a
passing curiousity, that they might check in every once and awhile. I
realize I've been preoccupied with this paycheck foraging habit I can't
seem to break and I ain't been payin' as much attention as I should but,
jeez, what happended to those guys?

The sun god got us. Other than that, we're still lurking, not goin' to
let Bob get away with nuttin.

Looks like our e-mail is doing OK now, so stay tuned to the lists for
further developments.

Sincerely yours (hee, hee, hee),
Barney and Carol
