Thanks for the message.  That's a good point about binding.  The DPO had
used a bolt instead of a clevis pin.  Do you believe it.
The clutch MC was replaced a while ago by professional mechanics who only=

deal in British cars.  They put in a new clevis pin, with two washers on
both sides , if you see what I mean, presumably to alleviate any possible=

binding.  So I've done that with a new brake clevis pin.
I'll go ahead and replace the brake hoses.  That way I won't have to deal=

with the brake system for a long time to come.  Uh,  oh I didn't say that=

Please, please I humbly wish to retract that foolish statement.
No, the Midgets don't have brake boosters.  These are manly cars!
Hey, that reminds me!!  I hereby claim the record for being overtaken by
something slow.  Yesterday, just before the smoking brakes episode
actually, I was bombing along this big stretch of road when I was overtak=
en
by one of those ice cream vans!  You know the kind  that go around the
neighbourhood selling ice cream to all the kids.  That's right!  Are you
proud of me, or what. =
