I really like and would suggest 185-70 R14 ver close to stock diameter and a
lot more rubber on the road. No clearance problems.

I hate to throw this out to the whole list, but I couldn't find a good
answer at any of the web sites I tried. Simplest question: what tire
should I choose for a 72 MGB driver? A few places still carry the 165-14
tire that was originally fitted, but it seems to me a little wider and a
little lower profile might be easier to locate and better for handling.
