I run a 175 70 R 14, Dunlop. Rolls well and corners nice. No clearance
problems.

Subject: Best tire size for MGB
I hate to throw this out to the whole list, but I couldn't find a good
answer at any of the web sites I tried. Simplest question: what tire
should I choose for a 72 MGB driver? A few places still carry the 165-14
tire that was originally fitted, but it seems to me a little wider and a
little lower profile might be easier to locate and better for handling.
