Well, thanks for all the advice, I should have written sooner but our
Server was/ is down, and will be again soon...
I did take auto shop in high school and fixed my cars in my teens but
then I discovered that it was easier to allow someone else to do it.
Just because you can doesn't mean you want to. That was 20+ yrs ago and
I lost my tools in the divorce. To top it off, I don't have a garage
and it is F***ing hot outside. I have to get things out of the trunk
before 10 am or I burn my hands on the trunk latch. Mind you I'm not
complaining about the heat...I do maintain my cars but I don't get a
sense of
accomplishment from it. I'm too hedonistic. I like the fun of the MG
and until this am it was a zippy car...
So, Now what's wrong is I can't get it into gear when it's running. If
the engine is off I can get it into 3rd or 4th but that's it. Last
night it worked perfectly. Where do I start?
