Unfortunately, this happens all the time. If you post to a newsgroup or
click yes for a cookie or just participate in a mailing list..somehow
that name gets out. All you can do is hit the delete key, go to the
trouble of replying to get removed from someones mailing list, or try
some other anti spam methods but all in all you will never get rid of it
all. As for spam from a list member?...I doubt it. Although marketeers
could potentially subscribe to lists for short periods of time to get
names then they are gone! I have heard of this happening but not
personally seen it.
I just use my delete key ...some days alot!
