While Canadian football is not American football it is "American-style"
football and is similar enough that both Canadian and American players play
in each other's leagues.  Several of the American game's stars cut their
teeth in the Canadian Football League and they were either Canadian or
American citizens.  Both nationalities have succeeded in the other's game.
