Hello Jarrod.    Yes the MGB is best and cheapest car to recondition and
mantane.
But,  You must be able to do 90% of the work yourself.  If you have to pay
some one to work on your MGB.  It will take alot of money out of your pocket.
And for a 15 year old.  Your pocket are shallow.  If you are a natural wrench.
You will have a hell of good time with your car.  You have a good year MGB to
start with.  It just took me 12 hours of labor and $150 to replace floor pans
in a 76 MGB.  And I did it myself.
Do not be afraid to get greasy and mest up your clothes.   Good Luck.  John
