Steve-

Think about that for a moment.  A truck's headlights are starting off above
your eye level and properly aimed are going to be angled slightly downward
towards the road.  Somewhere in there - your eyes are going to fall into the
direct beam of the headlights.  That's why it seems that every truck out
there appears to be shining it's lights right in your eyes!

On the other hand - I doubt anyone's eyes are below your MG's lights, so you
won't hear truckers complaining about your headlights.
