I don't kow how effective this would be but its a method I've seen
posted hear previously. It's simple: drain the oil pan then refill
with oil... that's reasonably fluid. Not something that's been sitting   
in the garage at 45 degrees and has the viscousity of molasses.

It has its drawbacks, obviously.
