Dave,
one of the adverts for the B-GT touted,

TRIPLEX Hotline. The essential option.

A reminder to young lovers everywhere.

Our message is simple. Don't forget to switch off the hotline heated rear
window.
If your car isn't fitted with a Triplex hotline, however, your problems
start when it's time to go home.
And surely just flicking a switch and waiting for your rear window to clear
will impress her far more than scrambling around in the back with a bit of
old rag.

* The picture in the advert is a stack of three pictures of the rear view of
a GT,
The top picture clearly shows a couple with their heads together.
The middle picture shows the window misted over and the tops of the couples
heads, much closer together.
The bottom picture is a foggy rear window with a hazy outline of the very
top of their heads just visable.

Under the lower picture is the story,
On the MGB Gi a factory fitted Triplex Hotline costs 12.50 pounds

So even the factory accessories were sold using a procreative theme. }8^)

Regards,

John{Scotty}Scott.
Adelaide,Australia.
Who had a TD in 1962, and didn't, and can't imagine anyone doing it in a TD.
However an essential accessory was a large picnic rug. }8^D
