 Max, you'd be doing yourself a favor if you'd quit using the PH8A. 
It's not the best filter around.  That's why you can buy it for less
than $3 at discount places.  The NAPA Gold is a high-end WIX filter that
has a thicker, finer element, which is why it costs more.
