Woke up - got out of bed - Jumped in the "Off-Roadster" (my daughters Geo
Tracker - well it has a completely removable top and 2 doors - what would
you call it) Met up with some buddies from the Philly MG Club and
followed them up to Hellertown. Probably should have spent the day
putting the pumpkin in, but what the hey!! Nice drive up - missed the
Midget in the worst way. Got to the show. A total of 142 (I think that
was the number) cars - of all British types. From a Lotus Super-S to a
Aston-Martin Lagonda (what a beauty). More MG's than most any other
marque. They let 5 Sprites (2 Bug-Eyes and 3 square bodies) in the Midget
class. 1 MGC, again Dr. Doug's, (good to see you again) only this year
they put him the CBB group. Ha - No easy First for him this time!!

Was a decent day - no rain this year!! Although that was part of the fun
of last years show, watching the Big Healy owners trying to figure out
where the side curtains go while it was raining. There were a few TVR's
Nice looking and I think fairly rare.

Left before the awards were given so I will have to Let Rick Brown tell
about that. Other listers there - Gene Fox (didn't know he had an LE) and
Paul Tegler with his GT (if I missed someone - sorry).

Saw a 74 Midget for sale - Pretty decent shape $2200 negotiable. Might
think about trying to sell the Fiero and pick that and maybe one or two
more up ;-).

And No I haven't picked up the Fiero yet. Maybe this weekend. I hope.
Timing, funds, differentials, and "other" considerations come first right
now.

In a world without walls or fences, what use do we have for windows or
gates?
