I belive it is the rectifier in the alternator. These are the sme symptoms I
have been having. I am going to upgrade to the Bosch unit...

Again - help please from the list.
Just back from my 84 mile commute with the ignition light on - first
time I have seen this - It is dim until you rev up - then it gets
brighter - brighter with lights on at speed - but drop the revs even
with the lights on and it gets dim!
New alternator?
